Furniture pickup from local sellers
Most of our furniture jobs start with a purchase from a Marketplace seller, a neighbor, an estate sale, an auction or a small local shop that does not deliver. We collect qualifying dressers, desks, tables, chairs, vanities, cabinets, bookshelves, bed frames and couches or sofas where the size and access allow, and deliver them to your address.
Dimensions and doorways
- • Send exact width, height and depth when you can — a listing photo alone can hide the real size.
- • The narrowest doorway, hallway or stair turn on the route matters as much as the item itself.
- • Tell us about tight apartment corridors, spiral stairs, low ceilings and elevator size.
- • If the piece will not fit through an opening, we cannot force it — measuring first avoids a wasted trip.
Drawers, legs, mirrors and glass
- • Removable drawers usually make a dresser lighter and safer to carry — say whether they come out.
- • Detachable legs or feet can be the difference between fitting and not fitting.
- • Mirrors, glass tops and stone tops need separate handling and should be mentioned up front.
- • Loose or damaged joints should be flagged; we can't guarantee fragile or already-failing furniture.
Stairs, loading help and heavy furniture
Never assume the seller will help load. If a listing says "bring help to load," tell us — it usually means the seller will not lift at all, and heavy pieces may need extra crew. Stairs, narrow paths, long driveway walks and upstairs apartments all affect handling time and the quote.
Seller handoff and quote information
Confirm who will be present at pickup, whether the item is inside, in a garage or curbside, and the window the seller can meet. For the quote itself, send photos, dimensions, both ZIPs, stairs and access notes, and your deadline. We do not appraise, restore or refinish furniture.
What to send for a quote
- • Photos of the furniture
- • Pickup and delivery ZIPs
- • Stairs or elevator notes
- • Preferred date

Frequently asked questions
Do you do upstairs apartment deliveries?
Yes. Let us know flights of stairs and any narrow turns so we quote it accurately.
Do I need exact measurements?
Exact dimensions are strongly preferred before dispatch. Width, height and depth — plus the narrowest doorway or stairwell — decide whether a piece can actually be moved.
